For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Through the work of volunteers, efforts to reach the city of Jay and it's surrounding communities with the love of Jesus are manifested. Those who are committed to First Baptist Church demonstrate the love of Jesus in a tangible ways so that those who are without Christ can see the difference Jesus has made. The volunteer is on the front-lines of these ministry opportunities and is the ones who see first-hand what God can do through a heart of service. Our hope is to raise up an army of servants who will not only think of others before themselves, but will also do what they can to see that all people know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
